20 days Later and then I post!!!

Here's looking at me Kid. Yeah I got a lot cut off on the 8th of Jan. I can't believe it took me so long to take and post a picture... I'm really slippin'. I didn't want this month to go out with not posting a picture of the "AFTER".

5th Day into the New Year!

Honey, I am feelin great and still feeling the aftermath of the New Years Eve Party. I just want to dance and sing. I've talked to the other girls and they feel on top of the world too. It was just a good time and the feeling will linger the whole 365 days of this year. I will be planning another trip soon. To Be Continue...

Today is my Mom's Birthday. She is 64. I miss her. I've talked with her. But, I haven't seen her the whole year of 2007. I will see her this year for sure.

We were/are absolutely Beautiful!!

We had a wonderful trip to Orlando, FL for New Years Eve 2007. Last year 2006 I said to myself... Angie, you should go to Orlando for New Years Eve!!! Get some friends together and have a ball. So, I told my friends in Michigan the plan and then I moved from Michigan but, I kept in touch and explaining my plan... The last few months of the year I explained the plan to my new friends here in Georgia and they were game. So Decemeber came and it was time to order the tickets. 4 of us were ready and book the room and the ordered the tickets. At the last minute Ta-nisha said "I'm goin" I mean the last minute... We were leaving on Monday and she bought her ticket on Saturday and drove from North Carolina on Sunday to ride with us on Monday morning. We got up and drive down to Jacksonville ate at Dennys then started on our way. Our excitement grew and grew... after arriving and running to will call at Downtown Disney we went to the Outlet and did a little shopping. From there we had lunch then checked into the hotel and we all went to SLEEP!!! LOL But, when we got up we showered, dressed and PARTYED! We had a wonderful time! I mean WONDERFUL! It was the best New Years Eve. We Danced, We Laughed, We Ate and WE Drank!!! We created some GREAT Memories! We were all Single, Professional and Sexy!!! Our song was Just Fine by Mary J. Blige and I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T. by Webbie. We ate some Mashed Potatoes, Steak, Shrimp, Pork Chop & Bread. We had these bucket of mixed drinks. Everyone had ball! I can't beat. I will always remember this night with my friends.

Also, I must say that the fireworks were Beautiful.

Grow 2008

Welcoming the New Year with the rising fireworks bursting in the air and the reflection being prompted by the song flowing over the loud speakers… I began to cry from my heart and I break out the camera to take that first picture of the “New Year”. My heart was full, my friends were around and there was supposed to be a party going on. Yet, the growth and change was going on inside of me. The growth was emotional and psychological. This year’s word for me is Grow. I grew in 2007and I know this YEAR is going to be exceedingly different… I know it. First, I don’t have my nephew. I’m trying to grow… Since he’s been gone I’ve tried my best to keep myself busy by going different places and talk to many people about his life just so I wouldn’t cry too hard and too long. This year is different because, I understand the person that I am and I am unwillingly to compromise myself for the benefit of others. I will GROW further.

Grow. I want to love harder.
Grow. I want to do the things to make memorable moments.
Grow. Stay real with myself
Grow. Never forget to Smile, Be Thankful, and to Pray.
